Thanks again for the latest update, it’s great to see real progress being made across the Governance, Tokenomics & Liquidity, and Tech & Protocol workstreams.
What still feels unclear is the status of, and equivalent timelines for, the Narrative & Comms workstream. In the original readiness checklist there were seven items here, covering everything from rollout narrative and DAO/user messaging through to external announcements, community engagement, outreach and partnerships. It would be really helpful if the next update could also touch on these areas.
Some specific thoughts I’d like to raise re demand side preparation and risks:
- We’ll need clear communication for the market around the new tokenomics model and the implications of v2 staking, to ensure the market understands the future token price implications and can get excited about that
- A structured marketing plan feels essential to raise sufficient awareness and excitement at launch. What materials and channels are being prepared?
- Have we considered identifying pre-committed early buyers or other demand-side support for launch? Even if not incentivised, modelling that demonstrates the investment case (staking yields, lockup activity, etc.) could help build confidence in early trading, similar to how IPO roadshows work in traditional markets.
My thinking is that if we aren’t engaging a market maker (which is my understanding) then ensuring there is visible demand for the token from the outset is even more important, since there won’t be professional liquidity providers balancing the order book. Without that, early trading risks being one-sided. DAO-funded LP incentives are helpful for depth, but we’d expect that to attract short-term LPs rather than committed buyers. That kind of “mercenary” liquidity can disappear quickly and isn’t a substitute for real demand that wants to accumulate and hold.
I appreciate there’s a lot going on, but given how important we understand comms will be to adoption, some clarity on this topic as part of the next update would be great to see.
