ABOUT

StableLab is a governance firm focused on professional delegation, DAO framework design, and data analytics. We work with various projects, from those just starting their journey to decentralization to the most prominent DeFi protocols.

Our systematic framework for DAOs covers governance methodologies, decentralized workforce management, incentive implementation, process documentation, communications, and community engagement. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and we provide a framework of principles and tools we have developed throughout our experience.

We help scale DAOs sustainably.

EXPERIENCE

We are one of the leading professional delegate team with a track record across major DeFi protocols, including Sky/MakerDAO, Optimism, Aave, 1inch, Uniswap and more.

We pioneer delegation work through high governance standards, extensive research, hands-on expertise and the consistent use of a code of conduct. Pushing forward web3 and DeFi since 2018, StableLab’s co-founders previously spent 3.5 years at the Maker Foundation.

Voting update:

We voted FOR on Proposal: Whitelist Fleet Reward Managers

The proposal makes sure juicy $SUMR tokens go to those that deserve it. Fully supported.

We voted FOR on Tally | Lazy Summer DAO (Official) | Proposal: SIP 0 - Governance Process.

Governance needs a framework and the one @Javier proposed provides all the needed clarity as well as clear guidelines on how to interact with Lazy Summer DAO.

Monster voting update.

Since the last post we voted as follows. (We publish voting rationales on Tally during voting, and in our weekly newsletter, which you can find here: https://stablelab.substack.com/

  • We voted FOR SIP 0.1 Quorum update.
This was our initiative, which increases governance security.

  • We voted FOR SIP2.3 Onboard Moonwell USDC and EURC Arks
Moonwell strategies are amongst the ones with the best yield in the current space.

  • We voted FOR SIP1.3: Cross-chain Fleet Deployment Proposal
More ETH strategies across multiple chains with Base as the hub chain.

  • We voted FOR SIP1.4: Fleet Deployment: LazyVault_LowerRisk_WETH
More yield possibilities on Base for WETH.

  • We voted FOR Cross-chain Proposal: Add Arks to LazyVault_LowerRisk_USDCe Fleet
Sonic USDCe yields expansion. Very good.

  • We voted FOR SIP3.3: Set Up Governance Staking Rewards
    More usecases for $SUMR. Supported

  • We voted FOR SIP5.4: Multi-Chain AdmiralsQuarters Role Setup

  • We voted FOR SIP2.7: Add 1 Ark to LazyVault_LowerRisk_USDC Fleet on arbitrum

  • We voted FOR SIP5.5 Enable onchain referrals and update AdmiralQuarters contracts
Onchain referrals are a proven growth strategy employed by many of the top DeFi protocols. Good move for SummerDAO.

  • We voted FOR SIP3.4 Extend and Adjust Vault Rewards Emissions
Having ongoing $SUMR emissions while $SUMR is transferable will make for very interesting flywheel and price discovery effects. Supported.

  • We voted FOR SIP2.6: Add 1 Ark to LazyVault_LowerRisk_USDC Fleet on mainnet
Adding Maple Syrup USDC to USDC Fleet, Maple has some of the best yields at the moment and has been around for a while. Almost lindy.

  • We voted FOR SIP1.5: Cross-chain Fleet Deployment: LazyVault_HigherRisk_USDC on mainnet
Expanding the number of Cross-chain USDC rewards for even lazier summers. Nice.

  • We voted FOR SIP4.1: Adjust Governance Parameters
This proposal speeds up governance while keeping it safe. Move fast, but keep things safe and sound and yield easy and lazy.

  • We voted FOR SIP2.9: Add 1 Ark to LazyVault_HigherRisk_WETH Fleet on mainnet
We had a great experience with the Origin team at Reserve Protocol. They support communities and have their hearts and minds in the right places. The product is also really good. Support adding it to the higher risk vault for both WETH and ETH.

  • We voted FOR SIP2.10: Add Ark to LazyVault_LowerRisk_WETH Fleet
    See above

  • We voted FOR SIP3.5: Extend and Adjust Vault Rewards Emissions on Sonic
Same rewards duration on Sonic as other chains. This proposal adjusts the Sonic rewards emissions to the same length as on other chains.

We’re voting FOR on Tally | Lazy Summer DAO (Official) | SIP2.5: Add 1 Ark to LazyVault_LowerRisk_USDT Fleet on mainnet

First, because of Maple Finance’s track record in lending. They’ve demonstrated strong credit standards and transparency, and Syrup USDT builds on the same structure as Syrup USDC, which the protocol already accepted. This integration deepens a valuable partnership, adds diversified yield exposure, and helps attract institutional users—all without introducing unproven risk.

We’re voting FOR on Tally | Lazy Summer DAO (Official) | SIP2.7: Add 1 Ark to LazyVault_HigherRisk_WETH Fleet on mainnet because it introduces the Morpho Smokehouse ETH strategy—a promising new ETH yield source—into Summer Protocol, helping diversify returns and attract new capital. Backed by Steakhouse, a well-regarded credit team, this strategy offers competitive APY compared to standard ETH lending or staking options. While the final risk classification is pending, the strategy aligns with Summer’s goal of expanding high-quality vault offerings and maintaining ETH yield competitiveness.

We’re voting FOR SIP 2.8 because integrating Fluid Lite ETH expands Lazy Summer’s ETH yield strategy by tapping into an emerging liquid staking model. While Fluid is newer compared to established staking protocols, the team has completed technical diligence, and the strategy offers a complementary yield stream to other DeFi lending. The “Higher Risk” classification ensures caution as the strategy matures.

We’re voting FOR SIP 2.11 because it restores competitive USDC yields within the protocol following the removal of previous reward sources. By integrating three Silo Finance vaults on the Sonic network, the protocol can diversify its yield streams and tap into emerging DeFi ecosystems. While full risk review is still pending, the vaults are limited to earn-side deposits only—minimizing exposure—and the estimated ~9.5% APR is compelling. This integration strengthens Summer Protocol’s position in the yield market.

We’re voting ABSTAIN on SIP 2.12. While the integration of the Term Finance Summer.fi ETH Vault introduces a structured yield strategy, the proposal lacks sufficient clarity around key risk factors, including liquidity during fixed-term lockups, borrower quality of Term Finance, and the rationale for assigning it to the Higher Risk vault, even though its modest projected APR doesn’t add much above holding wstETH. We support the direction of exploring fixed-rate lending, but believe a more complete risk assessment and clearer implementation details are needed before casting a definitive vote. The Tally description also contained the wrong link to SIP 2.13.

We’re voting ABSTAIN on SIP 2.13. The proposal lacks sufficient detail on borrower risk on Term Finance, collateralization standards, loan durations, and the actual composition of the projected 8.5% APR. We support the exploration of fixed-rate lending but believe more transparency is needed before casting a decisive vote. Also the Tally description contained the wrong link to SIP 2.12

We’re voting ABSTAIN on SIP 5.6.

We think delegate compensation is a fantastic way to make sure high quality contributors stay dialled in. A DAO is basically paying for information and for governance security. Given the value that high quality delegates provide, and this DAO is lucky to have several, the compensation has massively positive ROI.

That being said - as a likely candidate for receiving compensation - voting FOR would be self serving.
