1. Summary
This RFC proposes onboarding three new ETH-based ARKs, namely Aave v3, Compound v3, and Spark; to the Ethereum Mainnet Higher Risk ETH Fleet.
Each market would be added with identical parameters: 20,000 WETH fleet cap and 0.37 minimum buffer, stemming from assessment in @BlockAnalitica’s previous analysis (link).
2. Context & Motivation
The Higher Risk ETH Fleet on Ethereum Mainnet currently has limited diversification. With governance v2 coming online, improving vault competitiveness is becoming increasingly important, both for user returns, fulfilling Lazy Summer Protocol PMF, and for the overall attractiveness of the $SUMR token.
Aave v3, Compound v3, and Spark represent the largest, most battle-tested ETH lending markets across DeFi. Onboarding all three in parallel would:
- Diversify risk across multiple blue-chip money markets.
- Increase expected yield for the HR ETH Fleet.
- Expand the fleet’s capacity to accommodate future inflows.
- Prepare the protocol for improved discoverability (e.g., vaults.fyi rankings).
- Align with @BlockAnalitica’s updated post-incident risk methodology.
This RFC seeks community feedback before formalizing the onboarding into a SIP.
