# \[SIP3.19\] Extend SUMR V2 Staking SUMR Rewards (June)

### 1. Overview:

This SIP proposes extending SUMR token rewards for the SUMR Staking V2 module for an additional 90-day period on the same terms as the current program, allocating 450,000 SUMR to continue rewarding long-term stakers.

### 2. Motivation:

SUMR Staking V2 remains a core component of the Lazy Summer DAO governance and incentive system, aligning long-term token holders with protocol growth while encouraging active participation in governance.

This proposal seeks to maintain continuity by extending the reward program for another 90 days using the same allocation and distribution previously in place.

### 3. Specification:

The proposal will execute the following actions:

Execution steps:

1. `approve` 450,000 SUMR from the DAO Timelock to the [SUMR token contract](https://basescan.org/token/0x194f360d130f2393a5e9f3117a6a1b78abea1624).
2. Call `notifyRewardAmount()` on the [SUMR Staking V2](https://basescan.org/address/0xcA2e14c7C03C9961c296C89e2d2279F5F7DB15b4) contract with a reward amount of `450,000` SUMR and a duration of `7776000` seconds.

Upon execution, the staking contract will begin distributing rewards over a new 90-day period.

### 4. Risk Assessment:

The proposed extension does not introduce new smart contract functionality or modify reward mechanics.

### 5. Voting:

> If **YES** - Transfers 450,000 SUMR from the DAO Timelock to the SUMR Staking V2 contract, and extend SUMR V2 staking rewards for an additional 90 days.

> If **NO** - Do not extend SUMR staking rewards.
